How S-TECH-IT handles user data
Last updated May 10, 2026.
Information you provide
S-TECH-IT stores the account details needed to operate the site, including username, email address, password credentials, profile preferences, uploaded avatars, community memberships, chat room memberships, posts, comments, polls, votes, messages, room messages, file uploads, badges, and moderation records.
If you use paid features, billing is handled by Stripe or another payment provider. S-TECH-IT may store subscription status and payment identifiers, but full card details are handled by the payment provider.
Information collected while using the site
The app may record sign-in activity, timestamps, IP-related request metadata, analytics events, email notification preferences, content read status, acknowledgement status, message read status, presence timing, and audit history so the service can be secured, moderated, debugged, and improved.
Cookies
S-TECH-IT uses cookies and similar browser storage for necessary site functions such as sign-in sessions, security, remembering theme choices, and keeping the app usable across page visits. These cookies are not used to sell personal data, build advertising profiles, or place third-party tracking cookies.
If analytics are enabled, the site uses them to understand aggregate site behavior and improve the service, not to collect sensitive personal content from posts, messages, private clubs, or billing details.
How information is used
Information is used to create accounts, display communities, submissions, chat rooms, messages, files, polls, badges, and profiles; personalize feeds; send requested notifications; enforce moderation decisions; prevent abuse; support subscriptions; maintain audit records; and comply with lawful requests.
Content visibility
Public communities, submissions, comments, usernames, badges, reputation details, and profile details may be visible to visitors. Chat rooms and room messages may be visible to signed-in users. Private clubs, premium-only communities, direct messages, and confidential feedback communities add access limits, but administrators may still review content when needed for safety, support, moderation, or site operation.
Retention and account deletion
Account records may be deleted or banned by administrators according to site rules. Votes are personal and may be removed with a deleted account. Posts, comments, direct messages, and chat room messages may be preserved and reassigned to a placeholder account so community and chat conversations remain readable.
